The approach and process of my art is romantic and physical. I create my art using found objects and paint to reach for a primordial and physical presence. I use scribbles, ciphers, and unidentifiable marks that feel automatic and unplanned. The work is on the surface as physical reality, and below the surface as an unconscious searching, if not for meaning, then for something beyond the tyranny of words.
